What is visa RUN?

My friend told me, if my husband have 1 year visa from the UK every 90 days he has to do visa run. What mean visa run??

Hello panida, your question is not clear, you mean to say your husband is from Uk, But he has 1 year visa what kind of visa he has..retirement visa or marriage visa..if he has 1 year visa no need to go to cambodia for visa run, tell to your husband to go to immigration every 90 days for report.....

visa run is one of the unique aspects of expat life time is the visa run..Visa runs is common enough throughout the world but especially a part of life of forieghners living in thailand..visa run is Ussually required

Thanks for your answer but my other friend he also have 1 year visa why he no have to do a visa run? this is confused me.

Thanks for your answer but my other friend he also have 1 year visa why he no have to do a visa run? this is confused me. If you have 1 year visa no need for visa run.. have to do just to report at immigration every 90 days .visa run is only for the foriegners who are holding tourist visa..

Hello Panida, If your husband has a 1 year marriage visa from the UK..What he would do is to go back to his country every 90 days...

what about to go out with other country for example in laos or cambodia because its quite near than uk and beside inexpensive..it is possible to get a 90 days?..

yes it could..as long as he go out every 90 days from Thailand..
